`userdel` - delete a user account and related files

userdel [-r] LOGIN

Options you will use

-r: also remove the home directory
-f: even if the user still has processes

Gotchas

Files the user owned elsewhere keep the numeric UID - find them with find / -xdev -nouser. The next user created may get the same UID and inherit them.

Try userdel in a real terminal Free, in your browser - a real Ubuntu terminal to try it in, with missions that check your work.
