uniq - report or omit repeated adjacent lines
uniq [-c] [-d] [-u] [file]Options you will use
-c, --count- Prefix each line with the number of occurrences.
-d- Only print duplicated lines.
-u- Only print unique lines.
Gotchas
- uniq only collapses ADJACENT duplicates. Always
sort | uniq -c.
