`oc new-app` - Create a new application

oc new-app (IMAGE | IMAGESTREAM | TEMPLATE | PATH | URL ...) [flags]

Options you will use

BUILDER~URL: build URL with that builder image (nodejs~https://...)
--image=REF: deploy an existing image
--strategy=docker|source: force the build strategy
--name=N: name for every object created

Examples

$ oc new-app nodejs~https://github.com/sclorg/nodejs-ex.git

$ oc new-app --image=docker.io/nginxinc/nginx-unprivileged:1.27 --name=web

Gotchas

new-app creates Deployments (not DeploymentConfigs) with an image.openshift.io/triggers annotation.
