oc login - Log in to a server
oc login [URL] [-u USER [-p PASS]] [--token=TOKEN] [--insecure-skip-tls-verify] [--certificate-authority=FILE]
Options you will use
-u, --username- user for the identity provider
-p, --password- password (prompted when missing - better than putting it in shell history)
--token- an OAuth access token (sha256~...) - console: your name > Copy login command
--insecure-skip-tls-verify- skip the API certificate check (never in scripts)
Examples
$ oc login https://api.ocp.lab:6443 -u developer$ oc login --token=sha256~xxxx --server=https://api.ocp.lab:6443Gotchas
- The token lives in ~/.kube/config: whoever can read that file is you until the token expires (24h by default).
